College
It's a big, well little, ugly word.
It means: Mom's not paying anymore, all gas money is coming out of your pocket, the new concept of Rent, it means no one is waiting up for you when you get home at 1 in the morning. No more parents calling to make sure you're okay, no more homemade food. No more getting up to the smell of breakfast on the stove.
It my case it means: Oregon, warm apartment, my own car, my own groceries, my own gas. I even have to make my own healthy food if I don't want to get fat. New 20 pound school books, that cost an arm and a leg. It means I have to find a job... in a city I've never been to. Finding friends at a school where no one has lived in Cottonwood.
How is this going to happen.
I'm a Mammas girl.
My closet friends are either going to be in Redding or Sac.
Maybe I shouldn't go....
Maybe I need to learn how to grow up and move out.
Maybe I'm going to miss the four of us hanging out 5 nights a weeks.

Watching Emily take her first steps.
Seeing my brother mature.
Watch to see when the boys start liking girls.
The fighting when we decide what movie to watch.
